Beautiful place, even in winter

Beautiful place, even in winter

Really enjoyed touring the gardens on our visit in January 2017. Not much in bloom at that time but still such a beautiful quiet & serene place. Grab the headphones on your way out to the gardens to hear the very interesting historical information along your self guided tour. Great gift shops both in the house itself & the greenhouse next to the car park.
Enjoy!

Beautiful & Accessible for all!

Beautiful & Accessible for all!

Loved that this waterfall is so accessible. There is a parking area located right near the base of the falls, making this beautiful space accessible to all to see. You could spend an entire day here hiking, picnicking & enjoying the falls. There are even playground areas located a short distance from the falls if you have small children, they would love them!

These are truly beautiful gardens superbly maintained and beautifully laid out. There are also some lovely shops and a fantastic cafe with gorgeous food! Definitely worth a visit. Or several!

Beautiful Victorian era gardens. There is nothing to be seen inside the house. It has a restaurant and few shops and restrooms. The gardens are the main attractions however, when you are driving up to the mansion it does take your breath away. The views from the garden are gorgeous!! you can see the summit of a mountain from the House and from the garden. The garden has lots of sections and are beautifully kept.
